Services for Mary L. (Collins) Hughes, 80, of Logansport will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Marocco Funeral Chapel.
She died at 5:20 p.m., Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born on January 12, 1928 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late William Russell and Ethel Mellie (Hunter) Collins.A� On July 21, 1972 she married Donald S. Hughes and he preceded her in death on March 18, 1986.
She was a Homemaker who enjoyed mushroom hunting, puzzlebooks and watching Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and Lawrence Welk.
Survivors include 2 sons, Thomas E. Mize and Russell E. Mize and wife Patricia of Logansport, 1 daughter, Debora M. Creviston of Royal Center, 3 brothers, Russell Collins and companion Bonnie Scott of Logansport, Tom Collins of Indianapolis and Gary Collins of Cloverdale, 5 sisters, Pat Hopper of Indianapolis, Donna Anderson and husband Jack of Logansport, Barbara Gabelli of Ohio, Helen Guy and husband Ronald of Logansport and Doris Griffith and husband Richard of Logansport, 10 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by son, John Mize, daughter, Marilyn Jane Mize, brothers, William and Roy Collins and great grandson, Damien D. Duckett.
Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2009 at Marocco Funeral Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport.
Burial will be at Davis Cemetery, Burnettsville.
