Born October 15, 1923 in Walton, Indiana the daughter of the late Willard and Lena Walker.A� On December 22, 1940 she was married to Ernest Cotner of Royal Center.A� He preceded her in death in 1977.A�
She worked at R.B.M. Mfg. Co. for 37 years, then as a cashier at the U.A. Theater in Cass Plaza for 9 years, and also at the State Theater for 13 years.A� Mary was a member of the Main Street United Methodist Chruch, A�V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, a former member of Gamma Nu Sorority, Mary Dykeman Guild, and a Red Cross and Memorial Hospital Volunteer.A� She also enjoyed playing Euchre and reading.
Surviving are daughters, Carolyn Sue Powell of Logansport, and Patricia Key of Indianapolis, sons, Michael Cotner and wife Helen of Bloomington Illinois and Daniel Cotner and wife Anna of Logansport.A� One sister, Wanda Clary, and one brother Charles Walker, both of Kokomo.A� 8 grandchildren,A� Lynn Thompson, and Bill Powell both of Logansport, Brandon and Jason Cotner of Bloomington, Illinois, Brad Pier of Westfield, Indiana, Brian Pier of Kokomo, In., Joe Pier of Muncie, In., and Tina Morris, of Colorado, and 8 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by son, James Cotner and brothers, Wayne, Harold, Doyle and Don Walker, and one son in law Charles Key, and daughter in law Sandra Cotner.
Friends may call from 4 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday June 23, 2009 at the funeral home andA� also one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
Pastor Tom DeFries A�will officiate and burial will be in Crooked Creek Cemetery.
