Mary Alice Funk, 78, of Royal Center passed away at 5:03 a.m., Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Woodbridge Health Campus in Logansport.
Born on December 11, 1931 in Urbana, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Alberta (Wooters) Mansfield. On March 29, 1948 she married Merlin D. Funk and he preceded her in death on January 23, 2010.
She was a Homemaker and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and Ladies Aid in Logansport, Boone Twp. Homemakers Club, Home Ecc Club, Cass County Historical Society and Progressive Club. Her hobbies were knitting, reading and family quilting.
Survivors include her children, Conrad Funk and wife Elaine, Robert Funk and wife Debbie all of Royal Center, Garry Funk, Deena Hubler and husband Robert all of Jasper and Michele D. Funk-Corey and husband David of Fishers, sister, Malinda Knebel of Royal Center, grandchildren, Rob, Jeff and Ryan Funk, Diann Moesner, Blair and Nathan Hubler, and great grandchildren, Bryce, Jacob, Kaylee, Jordan, Elizabeth and Bo Funk, Alex Moesner and Marissa Gonzalez.
She was also preceded in death by brothers, Richard and John Mansfield.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday August 24, 2010 at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 2110 N. 3rd St., Logansport.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, August 23, 2010 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Home, 304 S. Chicago St., Royal Center and also one hour before the time of service at the church.
Pastor Tim Berlin will officiate and burial will be at Kistler Cemetery in Royal Center.
