Mary K. Geier

Mary K. Geier, 95, of Lucerne passed away at 2:17 p.m., Monday, December 13, 2010 at Millers Merry Manor in Logansport.
Born on March 28, 1915 in Cass County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Estella (Martin) Joice. On December 7, 1939 she married Max W. Geier and he preceded her in death on July 31, 2006.
Mary was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, baking and most of all spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, Max E. Geier of Kewanna and Barbara Finney and husband Frank of Walton, grandchildren, John Geier and wife Lisa of Kewanna, Joyce (Finney) White and husband Wayne of Harmony, North Carolina, Marilyn Geier of Kewanna, Mark Finney and wife Carrie of Greenville, South Carolina, Frank Finney, Jr. and wife Lindsay of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Susan Finney of Pensacola, Florida. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by daughter in law, Mary E. Geier and half sister, Blanche James.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Homes, Royal Center Chapel. Pastor Frank Finney will officiate.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, December 17, 2010 at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Metea Baptist Cemetery.
