Mary K. Kennison, 71, of Logansport passed away at 2:45 a.m., Friday, September 18, 2015 at Wellbrooke of Carmel Healthcare Center.
Born on May 19, 1944 in Muncie, she was the daughter of the late Randolph and Irene (Flanegin) Lanning.
She was a 1962 Logansport High School graduate.
On April 25, 1987 she married Howard “Bear” Kennison and he preceded her in death on July 17, 1993.
She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and she was formerly employed at Controls. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her beloved basset hound, Lilly.
Survivors include her daughter, Gwen Ashby of Indianapolis, son, Eric Cantrell of Logansport, sister, Nancy Hoffman of Logansport, sister in law, Sister Barbara Kennison of Traverse City, Michigan, granddaughter, LeeAnn Gates (Matt) of Noblesville and soon to be born great granddaughter, Kennedy Lee Gates.
Services will be private.
