Mary E. Lease
December 24, 1928 — January 25, 2015
Mary E. Lease, 86, of Royal Center passed away at 4:05 a.m., Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born on December 24, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Flora (Barnett) Huffman. On February 7, 1948 she married Robert E. Lease and he preceded her in death on April 9, 2012.
Mary was a Royal Center High School graduate.
She retired from Switches/Federal Mogul in Logansport. Mary was a member of Royal Center United Methodist Church. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking and most of all spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, Robert “Mike” Lease (Kelley) of Rochester and Beth A. Nubel of Logansport, grandchildren, Robert Wells (Tammy), Chad Wells (Nikki), Stephanie Jackson (Kern), Amy Wyatt (Jay), Michelle Soel (Matthew), Mary Wells (Michael Myers), Shawn Nubel (Haley Samuelson), Kim Darche (Brad), Chris Lease (Erin Reid) and Paxton Lease, Meghan McLochlin (Kyle), Mallory Smith (Michael) and Lauren Mitchell, 24 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Scott Lease, one daughter, Sarita Sue Hoehler, one brother, Joseph Huffman and two sisters, Elizabeth Swisher and Eleanor Harris.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home with Pastor Adrian Curtis officiating.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Kistler Cemetery.
