Mary McLeland

Mary Ann McLeland, 95, of Royal Center passed away at 12:52 a.m., Monday, January 22, 2024 at Woodbridge Health Campus.

Born on July 6, 1928 in Royal Center, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Bernadine (Minneman) Coleman.

She was a Royal Center High School graduate.

On October 9, 1948 she married Kenneth D. McLeland.  He preceded her in death in 1989.

Mary Ann was formerly employed at the H.W. Gossard as a seamstress.  She was also a lifelong homemaker.  

She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and enjoyed traveling, playing cards with her Royal Center friends and spending time with family.

Survivors include her children, Kenneth McLeland (Mary) of Logansport, Gary McLeland (Cathy) of Rochester, David McLeland (Teresa) of Sellersburg, Holly Lewis (Bob) of Delphi and Amy Nice (Stephen) of Royal Center, son in law, Ross Randall of Logansport, sister, Florence Mauch (Donald) of Ft. Wayne and grandchildren, Jeff Randall, Stephanie Roller (Roger), Brian McLeland (Jordan), Brandon McLeland (Lindsay), Emily Smith (Seth), Ryan McLeland (Madalyn), Erin Kitchel (Andrew), Alyssa Lewis, Megan Rogers (Nic) and Justin Nice.  She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth D. McLeland, daughter, Joyce Randall, daughter in law, Darla McLeland, grandchildren, Adam McLeland, Mathew Lewis and Jason Nice, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 26, 2024 at All Saints Catholic Church.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass in the All Saints Church Hall.

Burial will be at Royal Center Cemetery.
