A memorial service for Mary Francis Roberson will be held Saturday May 9, 2009 at the Jehovah Witness Kindom Hall, at 2:00pm. Mary Francis Roberson fell asleep in death on April 30, 2009 at the age of 81. She was born in Sylacauga, Alabama on September 7, 1927 to Charles and Lurie Skipper. A deep love and strong faith in her God, Jehovah, was what she based her life upon; and which reflected in the many ways in which she showed love to her family, friends, and others who knew her. As one of Jehovachr(39)s Witnesses, she spent many hours in the ministry sharing Bible Truths with those she came in contact with. She loved spending time with her family and working in her garden and home. Her smile and generosily blessed everyone around her, especially children. She is survived by her devoted husband, Edgar K. Roberson; sister, M. Louise Cochran; children, M. Ellen Lucas and Daniel (Claudia) Roberson; grandchildren, Michael (Veronica) Harleman, Anne (Eric) Hathaway, Amy James, and Kylie Roberson. 4 great-granchildren, Ashley and Sean James, and Alyssa and Alexis Harleman. A special thank you from the family is offered to the following: Southern Care Hospice, Chase Nursing Home, Ray and Rose Graves, Dick and Wilma Simons, Dave and Gail Armstrong, and Dan and Debbie Kendall, and other friends. Your kindness and assistance was greatly appreciated and will be remembered. Arrangements are being handled by Marocco Funeral Chapel, 119 E. Market, Logansport.
