Mary F. Shepler

Mary F. Shepler, 103, of Logansport passed away at 11:15 a.m., Friday, May 13, 2016 at Chase Center.

Born on January 20, 1913 in Marion, she was the daughter of the late William and Ethel (Buffington) Cox.

On January 21, 1933 she married Harold “Shep” Shepler.  He preceded her in death in June of 1973.

Mary retired from the H.W. Gossard.  She was a member of Church of the Brethren in Logansport and she enjoyed fishing, listening and watching the birds, going to B&K West and Sycamore but most of all spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughters, Mary Campbell of Warsaw and Carolyn Ream of Warsaw, grandchildren, Shelley Jensen (David), Angela Shepler, David Benn (Mindy), Devon Benn (Kim), Dana Benn (Jessica), Lisa Bratton (Terry), Ronald Hochstetler (Karen), Rena Bratton and Gerald Hochstetler (Linda), nephew, Richie Cox (Susie) and niece, Sharon Frushour.  She is also survived by 25 great grandchildren, 29 great great grandchildren and many step great grandchildren and step great great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son, William E. “Shep” Shepler and brother, Oral Cox.

Graveside Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Deer Creek Cemetery in Onward.  Lineup for the funeral procession will be at 12:00 Noon at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel.
