Mary Alice Spitznogle

Mary Alice Spitznogle, 86, of Logansport passed away at 3:15 a.m., Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Chase Center in Logansport.
Born on February 22, 1924 in Lucerne, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Donnelly) Pinder. On February 12, 1946 she married Cletus Spitznogle at St. ElizabethA�A�?A�?A�s Catholic Church in Lucerne and he preceded her in death on August 30, 2008.
Mary Alice was a 1943 Lucerne High School graduate, a member of All Saints Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella and the All Saints Ladies Society.
She was a Homemaker and Farm wife who enjoyed sewing, cooking, traveling, square dancing and most of all spending time with family.
Survivors include her children, Christine A. Toole of Kokomo, Susan L. Strait and husband Dennis of Olathe, Kansas, Judi M. Lucas and husband Rick of Walton, Felix M. Spitznogle of Bristol, Wisconsin and Leo A. Spitznogle and wife Luci of Logansport, sister, Elma Rogers and husband Wirt of Logansport, grandchildren, Angie, Nicki, Gretchen, Stacey, Travis, Alissa, Jessica, Tom, Nina, Brandi, Rachel and Nathan, and 17 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by son, Ralph C. Spitznogle, daughter, Patricia M. Spitznogle, brother, Jack Pinder and son-in-law, Joe Toole.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 a.m., Monday, November 29, 2010 at All Saints Catholic Church in Logansport with Father Mike McKinney officiating.
Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m., Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Marocco Funeral Chapel where there will also be a Scripture Service at 4:30 p.m.
Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
