A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Louise Yoder, 81, of Logansport will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at All Saints Catholic Church in Logansport.
She passed away at 2:23 a.m. Thursday, November 13, 2008 at Millers Merry Manor in Logansport.
Born on July 8, 1927 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Vitello) Arone.A� On May 26, 1951 she married David M. Yoder, Sr. and he preceded her in death on September 27, 2005.
She was a 1945 Logansport High School Graduate, a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a Homemaker.A�
She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and former member of St. Bridgetchr(39)s Catholic Church for several years.A� Mary was a devout Catholic who attended Mass regularly.A� She was also very devoted to her children.
Survivors include daughter Karla Sammons and husband Frank of Logansport and sons, David M. Yoder, Jr. and Joseph L. Yoder both of Logansport, 4 grandchildren, Alicia Sammons of Indianapolis, Hayley Sammons of Kokomo, Steven Sammons of New Port News, Virginia and Jaime Sammons of Gulfport, Mississippi and 1 great grandson, Derek Sammons, Gulfport, Mississippi.
She was also preceded in death by brothers, Nick and Joe Arone and sisters, Lucille Lehman and Joan Long.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, November 17, 2008 at Marocco Funeral Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport where there will be a Scripture Service at 7:00 p.m.
Father Mike McKinney will officiate and burial with military rites will be performed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Logansport.
