A Mass of Christian Burial for Maxine L. Petrie Kistler Coughlin, 82, of Logansport will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at All Saints Catholic Church, Logansport.
She died 6:45 a.m., Friday, February 06, 2009 at the McKinney House, Logansport.
Born on April 29, 1926 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late August and Lela (Gundrum) Petrie.A� On August 15, 1964 she married George ??Bob?i�� Coughlin and he preceded her in death on January 9, 2008.
Maxine attended St. Josephs School and Logansport High School, she was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella, Rosary Society and the V.F.W. 3790 Ladies Auxilliary.A� She was a Homemaker and a former Memorial Hospital volunteer.A� Maxine enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and playing Euchre and Canasta.
Survivors include sons, Don Kistler and wife Connie of Kokomo and Ron Kistler and wife Kerry of Logansport, daughter, Patricia Ann Evans of West Lafayette, step sons, Daniel R. Coughlin and wife Diane of Ft. Wayne and Timothy E. Coughlin and wife Pam of Chesterton, step daughter, Mary Kathryn Laskody of Norcross, Georgia, sister, Imogene LeDonne and husband Francis of Walton, sister-in-law, Margaret Ann Willison of Logansport, grandchildren, Scott Kistler and wife Courtney of Indianapolis, Tatum Egan and husband Joe of Oklahoma, Jessica Weathington and husband Cameron of Ft. Worth, Texas, Kira Evans of Logansport, Carrie Richards and husband Brian of Ft. Wayne, Emily Coughlin of Ft. Wayne, Hilary Coughlin of Ft. Wayne, Jamie Nygra of Portage, Lindsay Laskody of Florida and Robyn Murphy and husband Shane of Peru, great grandchildren, Emma Kistler, Logan Egan, Callen Weathington, Ethan Coughlin, Daison Richards, Jazmine and Anthony Leydet.
She was also preceded in death by her 1 st husband, Donald ??Spin?i�� Kistler, son, Tommy Kistler, brothers, Dick, Charlie, Jim and Bob Petrie and sisters, Bette Morecraft and Evelyn Bolander.
Father Jeff Martin will officiate and burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 9, 2009 at Marocco Funeral Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport where there will also be a Scripture, Daughters of Isabella and V.F.W. Ladies Aux. Service at 6:00 p.m.
While flowers are welcome, contributions in Maxinechr(39)s memory may be made to the All Saints Catholic School.
