Michael J. Casalini

A Funeral Mass for Michael J. Casalini, 38, of Lititz, Pennsylvania formerly of Logansport will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 7,2009 at All Saints Catholic Church in Logansport.

He died on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Hershey Medical Center in Pennsylvania.

Born on August 3, 1971in Logansport, he was the son of Joseph B. and Sue (Cabiness) Casalini, they survive.

Michael was the husband of Lisa Casalini and they were married on August 18, 2000.

He was a 1989 graduate of Logansport High School. He attended Manchester College for two years and graduated with honors from IUPUI in Indianapolis.

Michael was store manager of Target in Exton, PA. He had worked for Target for 17 years. Outside of his dedication to work at Target, one could always count on Mike to be seeking new adventures for his family. His love for his family brought him many wonderful years of vacationing. The familychr(39)s most favorite destination was Aruba.

His love of sports was lifelong. Mike played baseball as a child. He was a successful wrestler at Logansport High School and at Manchester College. He loved to water ski and boat on Lake Manitou. Those years prepared him for all that he did with his childrenchr(39)s sports and activities. When it snowed, he always went out to play with Megan and Justin.

When in Logansport, he always made sure to visit the fire station, as he did when he was younger, now bringing his children each time.

Mike was the most wonderful husband, daddy and son. He put others first at all times and could always be counted on to be there for anyone.

He was the love of Lisachr(39)s life and he was Meganchr(39)s and Justinchr(39)s best friend.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Lisa, son, Justin, 8 years old and daughter Megan, 7 years old all of Lititz, PA., parents, Joseph and Sue Casalini, sister Elizabeth Loposser and husband James, nephew Joseph and nieces, Sophia and Mia, paternal grandmother, Mary Casalini all of Logansport and maternal grandmother, Mary Jane Cabiness of Florida.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Guido Casalini and maternal grandfather, Bernard Cabiness.

There was a Christian Prayer Service at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Chapel in Lititz, PA on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. and calling was Tuesday, November 24, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m., Sunday, December 6, 2009 at Marocco Funeral Chapel in Logansport.
