Milton Dale Hayden, 81, of Royal Center passed away at 7:55 a.m., Friday, September 6, 2019 at Chase Center in Logansport surrounded by his loving family.
Born on February 27, 1938 in Logansport, he was the son of the late John and Bertha (Conklin) Hayden.
He attended Royal Center High School.
On November 30, 1957 he married Nancy Brown, she survives.
Dale retired from Valley Tool and Stamping in Logansport where he was production manager for over 25 years.
He was a member of Baptist Christian Church. Dale was an avid I.U. fan, he enjoyed watching old westerns and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Hayden of Royal Center, daughters, Tami Robertson (Dan) of Buffalo and Traci Schlick (Steve) of Royal Center, grandchildren, Jeremy Rogers, Amanda Marvin (Scott), Tom Hayden (Jillian), Brianne Hayden, Justin Schlick (Elizabeth) and Jasmine Schlick and great grandchildren, Eli, Christa, Jake, Lilly, Jase, Jaxyn and Tucker.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Brian Hayden, grandson, Brandon Schlick, brothers, Donald Hayden, Ivan Hayden, Harold Sanders, and Lawrence Hayden and sisters, Dora Jean Montgomery, Velda Arion, Glenda Martin, Eva Wedekind, and Lucille Shanks.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Royal Center Chapel with Pastor Richard Utterback officiating.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, September 9, 2019 at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Kistler Cemetery in Royal Center.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Baptist Christian Church and/or the Cass County Humane Society.
