Mona Lou (Galbreath) Hackett
March 9, 1949 — June 23, 2014
Mona Lou Hackett, 65, of Kewanna, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014 at Hickory Creek of Rochester surrounded by her loving family.
Born on March 9, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Phyllis (Poor) Galbreath. In 1985, she married Chester L. Hackett. He survives.
Mona enjoyed playing computer games, playing cards, especially Euchre, and spending time with family.
Survivors include her husband, Chester Hackett of Kewanna, sons, Donnie Armstrong (Jeannie) of Kokomo, Brad Armstrong of Kewanna, Faron Armstrong (Anna) and Eric Armstrong (Toni), both of Rochester, daughter, Stacy Hackett of Logansport, brothers, Mike Galbreath and Bobby Galbreath, 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home, Kewanna Chapel.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Kewanna Citizens IOOF Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home, Kewanna Chapel.
