Nathaniel J. Hopper

Nathaniel “Nate Dawg” J. Hopper, 18, of Logansport passed away 7:14 a.m., Sunday, February 3, 2019 at his residence.

Born on September 18, 2000 in Anderson, he was the son of Dustin Hopper and Alicia Brumett.

Nate was a 2018 Logansport High School graduate and he was in the process of furthering his education at Ivy Tech.

Nate loved animals, watching football and basketball and he was a fun loving person who will be missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his mother, Alicia Brumett of Logansport, father, Dustin Hopper (Jill) of Zionsville, sister, Chy’la Hopper of Logansport, grandmother, Janice Brumett of Logansport, aunt, Misty Jones of Anderson, uncle, Donald Hopper of Florida, uncle, Cody Hopper of Lafayette.  He is also survived by several other aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends and DMG.

He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Jeff Brumett and Danny Hopper, great grandmothers, Shirley Brumett and Joyce Hopper and great grandfather, Perry Hopper.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel & Crematory.

Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, February 11, 2019 at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
