Neil A. Fiedler
June 21, 1950 — August 16, 2016
Neil A. Fiedler, 66, of Logansport, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at 10:22 a.m., Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born on June 21, 1950 in Rochester, he was the son of the late Orland and Lucille (Carter) Fiedler.
Neil was a graduate of Caston High School.
On May 28, 1971 he married Christina J. Wilson, she survives.
Neil served in the U.S. Army National Guard and retired after 22 years. He also retired from Modine and he also was a driver for Cass County Transit.
Neil enjoyed riding his Can Am motorcycle, collecting John Force Memorabilia and also collecting knives and swords. He was also an avid Chicago Bears fan.
Survivors include his wife, Christina J. Fiedler of Logansport, daughters; Samantha Lambert (David) of Logansport, Crystal Burton (Kenneth) of Peru, and Ginger Harper (Eric) of Peru, brothers; Russell Fiedler (Bonnie) of Arizona, and Tom Fiedler (Jill) of Florida, sisters; Donna Cottrill of Lafayette, LuAnn Davis (Matt) of Logansport, and also Debbie Smith (Jon) of Greentown. He is also survived by grandchildren; Josh and wife Cassie Lambert, Krista and husband Mike Davis, Cassandra Ingle, Austin Ingle, Morgan Baker, Kinzie Burton, Carlie Reynolds, Alexis Beall, Meya Beall, Izaiah Harper, Kandace Harper, Jayden Ohrt, and Trinity Harper, and also great-grandchildren; Gavin Lambert, Aubrey Davis, and Landon Lambert.
He was also preceded in death by brother – in – law Charles Cottrell.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 19, 2016 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel with Pastor Adam Speicher officiating.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 18, 2016, at the funeral home.
Burial with military rites will be at Ever Rest Memorial Park.
