Patty M. James, 81, of Logansport passed away at 11:04 a.m., Monday, February 2, 2015 at Chase Center.
Born on March 24, 1933 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Knapp and Geneva Dawalt. She married Charles James in 1950 and he preceded her in death in 1996.
Patty was a homemaker and she was formerly employed at RBM. She was a member of The Refuge Worship Church and she was an avid Elvis fan.
Survivors include her children, Joseph James (Jennie) of Logansport, Jerry James (April) of Logansport, Jonathan James (Denise) of Logansport, Jeremy James (Stacey) of Logansport, Jennifer Rogers (companion, Mark) of Logansport, Janice Brumett of Logansport, Jeannine Goodman (Cary) of Peru and Julie Utter (Jason) of Logansport. She is also survived by 40 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by sons, Charles Jr., Jeff and Jamie James and 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
A Celebration of Life Service will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 6, 2015 at Refuge Worship Church in Logansport with Pastor Payton officiating. Friends and family may come at 12:00 p.m., until the time of service.
