Paul G. Kochel, 93, of Logansport, passed away with his family near at 7:43 a.m., Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Woodbrige Health Campus in Logansport.
Born on June 29, 1920 in Star City, he was the son of the late Harry and Pearl (Dewitt) Kochel.
On June 28, 1941, in Royal Center, Paul married Betty M. Scott who preceded him in death on November 19, 2011.
Paul was an Army veteran who retired from Exide Corp. in 1983. He enjoyed fishing, farming, and telling stories.
Survivors include daughter, Patt Meyer of Logansport, granddaughter, Melissa (Brian) Marcum of Avon, grandsons; Mike (Dawn Griffith) Foutz, and Brian (Tracey) Foutz both of Logansport, great grandchildren; Brooke (Casey) LeMay, Shane, Taylor, Andrew, Matthew, and Devin Foutz (Candace Foreman), and also Dani and Alex Marcum; great - great grandson Cohen LeMay; brother, Sam Kochel, friend of the family Larry Foutz, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.
