Paul Edward Rothermel

Paul Edward Rothermel, 83, of Logansport formerly of Lafayette passed away at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Chase Center in Logansport.
Born on April 17, 1927 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Edward and Nellie (Sales) Rothermel.
He attended St. Joseph School and Logansport High School.
Paul was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Lafayette and All Saints Catholic Church in Logansport. He was very active in church outreach programs that helped neighbors and the poor.
He retired from Purdue University in the Building Sanitation Dept.
Survivors include sisters, Cecilia Slusser and her husband Tom of Logansport and Agnes Kroft and her husband Robert of Logansport, brothers, Thomas Rothermel and his wife Stella of New Jersey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by brother, Fred Rothermel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 6, 2010 at All Saints Catholic Church.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Marocco Funeral Chapel where there will also be a Scripture Service at 2:30 p.m.
Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery at a later date.
