Services for Phyllis Fay Merrett, 64, of Logansport will be held at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Home.
She died at 4:45 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2007 in her home.
Born December 31, 1942, in Cass County, she was the daughter of Jacob E. and Dorthy (Helvie) Lantz. She was married March 23, 1962, to Paul M. Merrett, who survives.
Phyllis was a homemaker. Many years ago, she worked at Truckers Paradise. She was a Jehovahchr(39)s Witness and enjoyed quilting, baking, puzzles and reading.
Also surviving are three sons, Danny Lantz and his wife, Tammy, Rick Shackleford and Tim Merrett, all of Logansport; four grandchildren, Jason Lantz and his wife, Tammy, Kim Titus and her husband, Tony, Matt Lantz, Raymond Shackleford and his wife, Alisha, all of Logansport; six great-grandchildren, Nicole Heckard, Monica Canfield, Jasmine Lantz, Annabelle Shackleford, Chadwick Shackleford, Alexandria Shackleford, all of Logansport; two brothers, Allan Lantz and his wife Carolyn, and Merrill Lantz, all of Logansport; four sisters, Donna Young, Louanna Harper and her husband, John, Audrey Ray and Sherril Gibbs, all of Logansport.
Preceding in death are three brothers, Roy, Herbert and Delmar Lantz.
Brother Dan Kendall will officiate at the services.
