Phyllis P. (Brown) Pownall

Phyllis Pownall, 91 of Greencastle formerly of Rochester passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Mill Pond Healthcare Center in Greencastle.

Born on July 9, 1926 in Ripley, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Harry and Ferrell (Freeman) Brown.

Phyllis attended Kewanna United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed boating on Lake Manitou over the years and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her son, Verl Kreamer and wife Beverly of Kewanna, brothers, Richard Brown of Winamac, and Leonard Brown of Rochester, sister, Lola Lauder of Michigan, grandchildren, Matt, Michelle, Lindsey, Daniel, Dana and Nathan, daughter in law, Rufina Kreamer of Indianapolis.  She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren,

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ray Pownall and Robert Whitmire, infant son, Darl Ralph Kreamer, son, Jerry Kreamer and brothers, Donald and Harold Brown.

Services will be at 3:30 p.m., Friday, May 25, 2018 at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home, Kewanna Chapel with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

Burial will be at McKinley Memorial Gardens in Winamac.
