Services for Phyllis J. Sutton, 63, of Kewanna will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 4, 2008 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Home, Kewanna Chapel.

She passed away at 11:25 a.m., Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Memorial Hospital of South Bend.

Born August 30, 1944 in Kewanna, she was the daughter of Russell and Frances (Hite) Calhoun. On February 21, 1976 in Munster, Indiana she was married to Harold L. Sutton, Sr., he survives.

Phyllis was a seamstress for over 37 years at Hart, Schaffner & Marx and she had also formerly worked at Wal-Mart both of Rochester.

She attended Kewanna United Methodist Church and also participated in the Fulton County Relay for Life for several years. Phyllis liked to knit and sew and she enjoyed taking pictures.

Survivors include her husband, Harold L. Sutton Sr. of Kewanna, mother, Frances Calhoun of Leiters Ford, two sons Bob Sutton and wife Sandy of Kewanna and Harold L. Sutton, Jr. and wife Krista of Culver, one daughter, Linda Reinholt and husband Art of Monterey, one brother Dennis Calhoun, Monterey, one sister, Janet Calhoun of Culver, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her father, Russell Calhoun, one son, Jim Sutton, one brother, Donald Calhoun and one grandson, Jim Reinholt.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m., Sunday, August 3, 2008 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Home, Kewanna Chapel.

Pastor Steve McPeek will officiate at the service and burial will be at Citizens IOOF Cemetery, Kewanna.
