Rachel A. Scheffer

Rachel A. Scheffer, 49 of Winamac passed away at 8:50 a.m., Tuesday, May 1, 2024 at home.

Born on March 16, 1975, she was the daughter of Harvey and Jane (Fisher) Scheffer.

She was a 1993 Winamac High School graduate.

Rachel enjoyed crafts, crocheting, cooking and woodburning art.

Survivors include her sons, Zach Markley (Shannon) of Michigan, Jacob Scheffer of Colorado and Harvey Wenglarz of Lafayette, mother, Jane Scheffer of Winamac, brother, Matthew Scheffer (Natasha) of Michigan, sister, Laura Scheffer of Indianapolis and nieces and nephews, Tiffany, Matthew, Olivia, Alexandria, Miles and Avery Scheffer.

She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents, Ed and Olive Fisher and Julia Turnpaugh.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Harrison Chapel, 304 S. Chicago St., Royal Center.

There will be a dinner at the V.F.W. in Winamac at 5:30 p.m.
