Ralph E. Robertson

Ralph E. Robertson, 38, of Logansport passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at 6:15 a.m., Thursday April 5, 2012 at his residence.

Born January 22, 1974 in Logansport, he was the son of Richard Robertson and Alma Jean Green.

Ralph was a 1992 Pioneer High School graduate and he attended Ivy Tech where he was supposed to graduate this summer.

He was formerly employed at SUS, Monon Trailer and IBP.

Ralph loved fishing, camping, gardening, working on cars, an avid Dale Earnhardt fan, and most of all spending time with his children.

Ralph will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

Survivors include his mother, Jean Hettinger and husband Jim of Logansport, his father, Richard Robertson of Logansport, his children, Danyelle and Desiree Robertson of Logansport and Trent and Derick Robertson of Logansport, sisters, Kelly Wally, Christina Hardy, and Holly Trainer and husband Jason all of Logansport, step sisters, Christine Flannigan and husband Chuck of California, and Missy Booth of Kokomo, step brother, Jimmy Hettinger and wife Misty of Georgia and lifelong friend, Rusty Smith of Logansport. Ralph is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Oral and Bessie Robertson and maternal grandparents, Harold and Jamie Green.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m.,Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel with Pastor Dirk Raderstorf officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, April 9, 2012 at the funeral home and 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
