Ramona S. Seagrave

Ramona S. Seagrave, 78, of Winamac formerly of Royal Center passed away at 11:10 a.m., Saturday, February 16, 2013 at I.U. Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. Born on October 10, 1934 in Marion, she was the daughter of the late Winston and Nellrose (Schick) Morton. On September 15, 1961 she married Dwight H. Seagrave. He preceded her in death on October 18, 2010. She was a 1952 Swayzee High School graduate. Ramona was a clerk at Credit Bureau of Logansport for 17 years retiring in 1988. She was also a homemaker. She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church and the St. Luke Lutheran Church Women's Guild. Ramona was also a former member of Town and Country Extension Homemakers Club in Royal Center. Survivors include her children, Bruce Ladd of Cambridge City, Phil Ladd (Kim) of Lafayette and Greg Ladd (Cheryl) of Logansport, brothers, Mike Morton of Phoenix, Arizona and Chuck Morton (Velma) of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, sisters, Nancy Heim (Joe) of Westlake Village, California and Eileen Lemons (Gene) of Marion, grandchildren, Scott Ladd (Sarah) of Indianapolis and Cody Ladd of Indianapolis, great granddaughter, Amelia Ladd of Indianapolis, special cousin, Joyce Zody (Frank) of Kokomo, brother in law, Larry Seagrave (Carolyn) of Greentown and special friends, Betty Schaff of Marion and Dick Harmon (Sharon) of Lucerne. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 721 South Market St., Winamac with Pastor Tom Woodley officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Home, Royal Center Chapel. Burial will be at Thompson Cemetery.
