Randall “Randy” Keith Merricks, 58, of Lucerne passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021.

Born on May 23, 1962 in Amarillo, Texas, he was the son of the Lonnie and Tommie (Zerkle) Merricks.

Randy was a Tri-Central High School graduate.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

On August 14, 2001 he married Mary Parente, she survives.

Randy was a machine operator at Chrysler in Kokomo and also a member of UAW #685.

He enjoyed playing in his bowling league.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Merricks of Lucerne, mother, Tommie Merricks of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, daughters, Jennifer Sims of Kokomo and Hylary Merricks of Kokomo, step sons, John McMahan (Amy) of Walton and Michael McMahan (Tamra) of Logansport, brother, Kenneth Merricks (Phyllis) of Georgia and sisters, Terri Davis (Jerry) of Russiaville and Joan Duncan (George) of Destin, Florida.  He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Merricks.

A pubic visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Marocco Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport.

Services will be private.

Burial with military rites will be performed at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Logansport.
