Raymond R. Ross

Raymond R. Ross, 82, of Logansport, passed away at 3:52 p.m., Monday, May 30, 2011 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born on September 23, 1928, in Logansport, he was the son of the late Aurielo and Carmella (Gianerini) Rossi.
He was a Logansport High School graduate and a WWII U.S. Army veteran.
Mr. Ross was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, VFW Post 3790, American Legion 60, all of Logansport.
Raymond formerly worked for the U.S. Postal Service and he formerly owned and operated RayA�A�?A�?A�s CafA�?AC. in Logansport.
Survivors include sons; Raymond Rossi Jr., and Richard Allen Rossi (Brenda) of Logansport, daughters; Ruth Blevins (Ted), Ramona Cunningham, all of Logansport, Rosalie Humphrey (Keith) of California, Ruby Fleming (Donn) of Washington State, and Tammy Ross of Connecticut, sisters; Dolly Kieffer of Washington State, Clara Ware of Texas, Ramona Key of Leo, Indiana, and Jeanette Mayer of Illinois. He was also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Mt. Hope cemetery.
