Raymond V. Williams, 77, Warsaw formerly of Royal Center and Nappanee died at 1:12 a.m., Wednesday, February 10, 2010 in Elkhart General Hospital.
Born August 8, 1932 in White County, he was the son of the late Darl and Bonnie Hunt Williams. He was married July 5, 1955 in Delphi to Helen E. Myers, who survives.
Raymond retired in 1989 from TRW in Lafayette. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in Korea.
He was a member of Baptist Christian Church in Royal Center and American Legion Post 60 in Logansport.
Surviving with his wife are step daughter, Donna L. Graff and her husband, Marty, Nappanee; three step grandchildren, eight step great grandchildren; four brothers, Stanley Williams, Donald Williams, Jack Williams, all of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Merle Williams of Lafayette; and four sisters, Mabel Kogler, Lucille Dyke, Ruby Williams and Mary Robinson, all of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
One sister, Ruth Williams preceded in death.
A Gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2010 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Home, 304 S. Chicago St., Royal Center. A Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Richard Utterback officiating.
