Retha L. Bechdol

Services for Retha L. Bechdol, 89, of Logansport will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday in Marocco Funeral Chapel.
She died at 5:17 a.m., Sunday, January 21, 2007 in Chase Center.
Born July 27, 1917 in Middlefork, she was the daughter of the late John and Ruby (Hillis) Miller. She was married August 24, 1940, in Logansport, to Harry E. Bechdol, who preceded in death on August 8, 2000.
Retha attended Logansport schools and was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and spending time with her family.
Surviving are three sons, Ben Bechdol and his wife, Sally, Twelve Mile, Larry Bechdol and his wife, Barb, Chicago, IL., and James Bechdol and his wife, Janet, Logansport; one daughter, Letha Gasho and her husband, Ernie, Logansport; three grandsons, Jeff Bechdol, Santa Barbara, California, Matt Bechdol and his wife, Heather, Indianapolis and Stephan Bechdol, Norwalk, Georgia; one granddaughter, Shannon Gasho, Logansport; and five sisters, Evelyn Jean Russell, Anna Belle Spencer and Shirley Cox, all of Logansport, Melba Richardson, Walton, and Barbara Young, Muncie.
One son, two granddaughters, one grandson, one brother and one sister preceded in death.
The Rev. Roger Budde will officiate at the services. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery, Walton.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m., Tuesday in the funeral chapel.
