Richard D. Baker, 51, of Logansport went to sleep in the hands of the Lord at 11:47 a.m., Saturday, March 15, 2014 at his residence.
Born on December 6, 1962 in Peru, Indiana, he was the son of the late Daniel E. and Geraldine (Richards) Baker.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Richard was formerly employed at Summit EMS Inc. in Logansport and he also was a former shop steward at Monon Trailer where he was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Jointers of America.
He was an avid hunter and he enjoyed mushroom hunting auto racing and hunting for arrowheads.
Survivors include sons; Daniel Baker, and Brandon Baker both of Peru, and sisters; Donna Sargent (Bob) of Nappanee, Patty Fry of Logansport, Deb Klimes (Daniel) of Logansport, and Darlene Meyermann (Jay) of Lebanon, Ohio. Richard is also survived by grandchildren; Maddilyn Baker, Chloe Baker, Blayde Baker, and Trinity Ash.
Services will be held at a later date.
