Richard "Dick" Gallaway

Richard “Dick” Gallaway, 95 of Logansport passed away peacefully at 5:15 p.m., Monday, October 22, 2018 at Miller’s Merry Manor.

Born on March 17, 1923 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Merle and Effie (Sprowl) Gallaway. On May 17, 1945 he married Angeline Perfetto in St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church.  She preceded him in death on March 28, 2018.

Richard was a WWII Navy veteran. He retired from Rockwell International in 1981.  Dick was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and a lifetime member of the V.F.W.

Survivors include his nephew, Don Perfetto of Lithia, Florida, sisters, Virginia Ricci of Logansport and Joan Hopper of Logansport, brothers- in-law, John Donato of Logansport and Eugene Perfetto of Logansport.  Dick is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by 7 sisters and 1 brother.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 26, 2018 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel & Crematory with Father Jeff Martin officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Friday.

Burial with Full Military Rites will be performed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
