Richard L. Leydet

Services for Richard Leon Leydet, 72, of Logansport will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday November 20, 2008 at Marocco Funeral Chapel.

He died at 6:00 a.m., Monday November 17, 2008 at his residence.

Born on September 22, 1936 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Charles and Janet (McNaught) Leydet.

He was a 1955 Logansport High School Graduate and a U.S. Army Veteran.

He was a retired truck driver, a member of the American Legion 60, VFW 3790 and the Logansport Eagles and he also enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Survivors include daughters, Cynthia Mae Smith and husband Larry of Logansport and Sandra Kay Bush and husband Gregory of Rockfield and Kathy Scott and husband Mike of Camden, sons, Kevin Benedict and wife Kim and Kenny Benedict of Logansport, sister, Janice K. Banta of Logansport, brother, Fred Leydet and wife Donetta of Vincennes.A� He is also survived by many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.

He was also preceded in death by sons, Kim Eugene Benedict and Christopher Babb and brother, Charles ??Mac?i�� Leydet.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at Marocco Funeral Chapel, Logansport.

Pastor Tim Berlin will officiate and burial with military rites will be conducted at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Logansport.
