Robert J. Campbell

Robert J. Campbell, 39, of Monticello formerly of Royal Center passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at his home.

Born on September 2, 1982 in Lafayette, he was the son of Alton “Al” Campbell and Vickie S. Delon.

Robert was a 2001 Pioneer High School graduate where he played football, basketball, and track.

He was an avid Chicago Bears, Cubs, and Blackhawks fan.  Robert enjoyed coaching his son, Preston, in the Monticello Youth Baseball League, deer hunting, and Nascar.

Robert was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters of Joiners of America.

Survivors include his mother, Vickie Bridge (Ernie) of Royal Center, son, Preston J. Campbell of Monticello, grandparents, Glenn Delon (Mary) of Huntington and Doris Delon of Walton, siblings, Mitcheal Campbell (Lisa) of Logansport, Anthony Campbell (Abby) of Kokomo, Julie Campbell of Goodland, Heather Campbell of Logansport, Elizabeth Bridge of Indianapolis, and James Bridge of Logansport.  He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alton “Al” Campbell and grandparents, Carlos Campbell and James “Jim” Bridge.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 5, 2021 at Shiloh Christian Church, 1047 N. County Road 350 W., Logansport.  Dr. James Elliott will officiate.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 4, 2021 at the church. If you would like to honor Robert by wearing your favorite Chicago team to the services, please do.

Burial will be at Kistler Cemetery in Royal Center.
