Ronald G. Copenhaver

Ronald G. Copenhaver, 88 of Logansport passed away peacefully at 10:56 p.m., Sunday, August 25, 2024, at home surrounded by his grandsons.

Born on March 30, 1936, in South Bend, he was the son of the late George and Henrietta (Klusczinski) Copenhaver.

He was a proud U.S. Army veteran.

On September 18, 1965, he married Martha Ann Reeser. She preceded him in death on November 15, 2018.

Ronald retired in 1987 from Exide after 25 years. He enjoyed fishing, loved to work on computers, never missed a yard sale and most of all spending time with his grandsons and great grandsons.

Survivors include his three sisters, Sharon, Beverly and Marge, his children, Randy Copenhaver (Kimberly), Rhonda Martin (Mike) and Martie Telfer, his grandchildren, Jacob Telfer (Brittany), Jared Telfer (Kelsey Tocco) and Jordan Telfer (Chanelle Witmeyer) and his great grandsons, Luke, Wyatt, Kaysen, Lincoln, Kywren and Kade.

He was also preceded in death by brothers, LaMar and Eddie.

Services will be at 12:00 p.m., Friday, August 30, 2024, at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Marocco Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Burial with military rites will be performed at Ever Rest Memorial Park.
