Ronald A. Seno, Sr., 76, of Logansport passed away unexpectedly in his home in the early morning of Tuesday, October 5, 2021.
He was born on March 18, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois.
On November 20, 1968 he married Connie Josetti. Ron was a devoted member and usher at All Saints Catholic Church.
Ron was a train operator and yard foreman for Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) for 28 years until his retirement in 1994. Ron continued his love for railroading after his retirement. In his spare time, he was an avid “Price is Right” viewer, and often traveled to local gas stations to purchase lottery tickets and a soda. Ron was an avid fan of the Chicago White Sox. He also enjoyed watching Notre Dame football and all of the other Chicago sports teams, except for the Cubs. He enjoyed cooking and eating home-cooked Italian meals with his family and spending time with his grandchildren. “Partner in Crime” is the nickname most often used when describing Ron’s relationship with his many grandchildren.
Survivors include his children, Jeff Seno of Nappanee, Ronald (Jennifer) Seno, Jr. of Rochester, Marjorie (Andrew) Howell of Logansport, Marc (Jill) Seno of Logansport, and Joseph (April) Seno of Kewanna; sisters, Patricia Kearns of Berwyn, Illinois and Deborah (Paul) Kahl of Westchester, Illinois; many grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Connie; daughter, Victoria Seno; and parents-in-law, Howard and Marjorie Josetti.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Marocco - Rans Funeral Chapel, 119 E. Market St, Logansport, IN.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 11, 2021 at All Saints Catholic Church.
Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
