Ronald M. Strasser

Ronald M. Strasser passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN surrounded by his family. He was 75 years old.

Ron was born to Mac and Marjorie (Brewer) Strasser on July 8, 1946 in Logansport, Indiana.  He was the 2nd oldest of four children.

After graduation from Logansport High School in 1964, he joined the U.S. Army where he served tours in Vietnam and Korea. Ron married Darlene (Johnson) Strasser in 1967. They were married for 33 years and raised 3 children together.

Ron was formerly employed at Hoosier Propane and Pepsi -Cola as vice president in Logansport for 10 years. He was a former member of Kiwanis and Rotary in Brazil.

He is survived by his children, Shannon Strasser (Kim) of Ohio, Shane Strasser (Jill) of Pittsboro and Jill Newport (Trent) of Greenwood, brother, Dean Strasser of Logansport and sisters, Carmen Guy of Logansport and Susan Lindsey (Frank) of Evansville.  He is also survived by the many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside services with Military Rites will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, October 1, 2021 at Kistler Cemetery in Royal Center.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Vietnam War Veterans Association.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Harrison Chapel, Royal Center.
