Rosemary G. Rearick Cottrell

Rosemary G. Rearick Cottrell, 71, of Winamac passed away at 5:35 p.m., Thursday, February 28, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her family. Born on June 8, 1941 in Winamac, she was the daughter of the late Clement and Berniece (Kuhn) Braun. She was widowed by her husband's Carson Rearick and Jesse Cottrell. Rosemary was a homemaker and she was a member of Church of the Heartland in Winamac. She enjoyed collecting owls and rocks. Rosemary also enjoyed going to the ladies church breakfasts, traveling and most of all spending time with her family. Survivors include her children, Berniece "Bunny" Decker (Donnie) of Winamac, Anthony "Bud" Rearick (Tammy) of Monterey, Lavonda Spoor (Tom) of Monterey, and Tania Bradley (Harold) of Cubrun, Kentucky, brothers, Anthony Braun (Joy) of Rochester, Andy Braun of Winamac and Jerry Braun of Winamac, sisters, Betty Wallace (Walt) of Winamac, Jan Meyer (Paul) of Star City, Dorothy Braun of Indianapolis, Patricia Braun of Illinois , Margaret Shegas (John) of Florida, Ruth Robinson of New York and Clara Keller Braun of Winamac, 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by brother, Terry Braun and grandchildren, Amanda Spoor and Andy Decker. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2013 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Home, Royal Center Chapel with Pastor Jim Howard officiating. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m., Sunday, March 3, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Star City West Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Project A18 Mission, 705 E.
