A Celebration of Life for Ruth Ann Anderson, 86, of Kewanna will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 8, 2009 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Home, 123 E. Main St. Kewanna.
She passed away at 1:25 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2009 at St. Joseph Hospital in South Bend.

Born July 1, 1922 in Kewanna, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Lelia (Leasure) Tomlinson.On December 20,1941 she was married to Arthur J. Anderson and he preceded in death on September 17, 1996.
Ruth Ann was a 1940 graduate of Kewanna High School. She retired from Farmers & Merchants Bank in Kewanna & Rochester, where she worked as a teller and bank officer for many years.
Ruth Ann was a member of the Kewanna United Methodist Church and a former member of Order of Eastern Star, Kewanna. She enjoyed helping others and her hobbies also included caning chairs, painting and crafts. She also enjoyed mowing her yard.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Joyce A. Luhnow of Kewanna, and Becky J. Lincoln of South Bend, 2 sisters, Mildred McColley and Beth Weller (Ray), both of Kewanna, 5 grandchildren, Doug Luhnow (Beth), Angie Luhnow, both of Kewanna, Chris Riffle (Hank), Akron, Leslie Halterman (Dennis) of Madison, WI and Sara Edwards (Adam), South Bend, and 8 great grandchildren, Brad, Amber and Adam Luhnow, Kyle and Brittany Riffle, Lauren Halterman and Kahlan and Lilly Edwards.
She was also preceded in death by sons in law, James R. Lincoln and Fred W. Luhnow and sister, Lois Kumler.
Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m., Sunday, June 7, 2009 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Home, 123 E. Main St., Kewanna and also 1 hour prior to the time of service on Monday.
Rev. Steven McPeek and Pastor Steve Tufts will officiate and burial will be in Kewanna Citizens IOOF Cemetery.
