Ruth L. (Bridwell) Sundy

Ruth L. Sundy, of Conroe, Texas formerly of Logansport passed away at the age of 101,  on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Park Manor Healthcare Center in Conroe, Texas.

Born on November 18, 1918 in Linden, Indiana,  she was the daughter of the late Harry and Clara (Kinser) Bridwell, the sister of Juanita Whipple, Judy Minter who preceded her in death and survived by her brother, Max Bridwell and his wife Lavonne living in Linden, Indiana.

Ruth was married to James J. Sundy for 49 years,  he preceded her in death in 1991. They have one son, James R. Sundy  of Conroe, Texas and his wife, Catherine. Ruth has two grandchildren,  Richard (Richy) and his wife Karen, of Ohio and Cara Smith and her husband Michael, of Indiana and 4 great grandchildren,  Richy and Julia, of Ohio and Chloe and Michael of Indiana.

Ruth was a lifelong homemaker.  She was very actively involved in the “Sons of Italy” and in other communities activities.

A Memorial Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Marocco Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport, IN.  46947

Inurnment will be at 1:30 p.m. at Ever Rest Memorial Park in Logansport.
