Scott Patchett

Scott Patchett, 52 of Kokomo, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at Majestic Care in Ft. Wayne after a courageous battle with Huntington’s Disease.

Born on June 16, 1970 in Kokomo, he was the son of Gary and Deborah (Schmidt) Patchett.

Scott played football at Tennessee State University and Montana State University prior to receiving his BA degree from California State University.

He lived in California 35 years, and was the owner of his own corporate recruiting company. Scott returned to Kokomo four  years ago, along with his mother to be closer to family and friends. He had hoped he could watch just one more Super Bowl.

Survivors include his mother, Debby Patchett of Kokomo, son, Christopher Patchett (Sabdi) of California, brother, Blair Patchett of California, uncle, Mike Schmidt (Carolyn) of Kokomo and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, sister, Kimberlee Patchett and grandparents, Louie and Anita Schmidt.

Services are pending.
