Shirley A. Freels

Shirley A. Freels, 86, of Rochester passed away at 12:25 a.m., Monday, October 10, 2022 at Woodlawn Hospital in Rochester.

Born July 2, 1936 in Young America, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Maude (Cree) Helvie.

Surviving her husband, Gene Freels of Rochester, daughter, Donna Burwick & husband Ed Fincher of Rochester, son, Steve Freels of Rochester and his companion, Presuis Betts of Logansport,  2 grandchildren, Lynette Mollette of Mentone and Michael Fincher of Rochester, great grandchildren, Payton & husband Devin Johnson of Argos, Lance Corporal Corey Fincher & wife Mallorie of California, Masen Fincher and Chase Fincher, both of Rochester, Tommy Mollette of Mentone, Timmy Mollette of Rochester, Alexis Hicks and Aubrie Tate, both of Rochester, nephew, Rich Johnson & wife Marcel of California, niece, Cheryl Rood & husband Gerrald of Idaho, great niece, Christala Sandra, 2 great great nephew’s, Joshua & Immanuel and great great niece, Elizabeth.

She was preceded in death by grandson-in-law, Thomas Mollette, sister, Margaret & brother-in-law Leland Blohm, nephew Kenny Blohm and her parents.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Rans Funeral Homes, Metzger Chapel, Kewanna.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 14, 2022 at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Fulton Cemetery.
