Logansport

Stacy K. (Field) Collins, 44, of Logansport passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Monticello.

Born on October 4, 1976 in Rochester, she was the daughter of Mark Field and Lisa Hall.

She was a 1995 Caston High School graduate.

Stacy was a former mortgage and loan officer at Security Federal Savings Bank in Logansport and was currently working at Community First Bank of Indiana in Kokomo.

She was a member of Faith Community Fellowship Church and CASA.

Stacy was very active with the Great Banquet Community and served in several different roles over the years, she volunteered for the Salvation Army and Big Brothers/Big Sisters.  Stacy enjoyed playing softball, volleyball and was also an avid pickleball player and was proud that she got to play in Florida recently.  Stacy also coached volleyball at Caston High School for several years.

She enjoyed the outdoors and taking in nature, going on walks, writing poems, journaling and being active in her Bible Study groups.  Stacy’s life was filled with the love for her grandchildren and her dog Luna.

Survivors include her husband, Brandon Collins of Logansport, mother, Lisa Plantz of Frostproof, Florida, father, Mark Field (Karen) of Kewanna, mother and father in law, Deb and Bill Drinkwine of Logansport, sons, Garret Gray (Robin) of Logansport and Gage Horn (Shealyn) of Vilseck, Germany, daughter, Grayce Horn of Galveston, step sons, Dodger Collins (Alexis) of Logansport, Brantlen Collins of Logansport and Mac Collins of Logansport, grandchildren, Blake, Briar and Baleigh Gray and one on the way, step grandchildren, Launa, Laney and Luka, brothers, Kevin Plantz (Melisa) of New Haven and Mark Field (Erica) of Kewanna, sisters, Kindra Field (Jen) and Kristen Field both of Rochester, several aunts and uncles, Rodney Hall, Ryan Hall, Randy Hall (Kendra), Becky Hott, Neil and Kelly Field, Linda and Chet Good, Peggy Field, Jean and Carl Gray, Sandy and Bob Sutton, David and Lisa Field, Gail and Sue Field and Carolyn Enyeart.  She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

She was preceded in death by step father, Donald Plantz, maternal grandparents, Gary and Theresa Hall, paternal grandparents, Garold and Betty Field, step grandparents, Robert and Alyce Plantz, brother, James Plantz, uncles, Gary Hall, Mark Hall and Jim Hott and aunt, Kathleen King.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, August 2, 2021 at Faith Community Fellowship Church, 1007 17th St., Logansport.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, August 1, 2021 at the Faith Community Fellowship Church.

Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
