Services for Stephen A. Williams, 48 of Idaville will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Homes, Royal Center Chapel.

He passed away Monday, November 16, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette.

Born on April 10, 1961 in Logansport, he was the son of Allen J. and Yvonna ??Arlene?i�� (Sherman) Williams.

Stephen was a 1979 graduate of Twin Lakes High School and he attended Ivy Tech Community College.

He was an eight year veteran of the U.S. Navy and was formerly employed at Indiana Packers in Delphi.

He was a member of the Logansport Eagles, American Legion, and Amvets. He enjoyed computers and his dog Shorty.

Survivors include his father, Allen J. Williams of Idaville, brothers, Randy A. Williams and wife Monica of Monticello and Lewis Linback of Idaville and nephews, Kaleb, Kastin and Carson Williams all of Monticello.

He was preceded in death by his mother Yvonna ??Arlene?i�� Williams and brothers, Mark, Michael and Clayton Williams.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Homes, Royal Center Chapel.

Pastor Nick Jacobson will officiate and burial with military rites will be performed at Kistler Cemetery, Royal Center.
