He crossed the finish line of his Great Race at 2:10 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at his home.A�A�
Born on May 29, 1953 in Logansport, he was the son of the late William and Delores (Burns) Adair Asher. A� Steve was a U.S. Army Veteran and was currently a multi-slide setup operator for Humphrey Tool in Logansport.A�
He enjoyed being outdoors, working on cars, NASCAR and Nationwide Series Racing, and spending time with his grandchildren.A�A�
He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Adair and partner Frank Woodward, daughter, Sadie Evans and husband Travis, sisters Cyndi Mackey and husband James, Tereasa Knight and husband Bill, brothers Richard Adair, Ron Adair and wife Jan and James Adair all of Logansport, grandchildren, Justin Adair, Ethan, Emily and Evan Snyder, and Blake and Elizabeth Evans, all of Logansport.A�
He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as several great nieces and nephews.A�A�
He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Sharon Smith.A�A�
Calling will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday July 24, 2008 at Marocco Funeral Chapel, Logansport.A�A�
Pastor Andy Weil will officiate the service and burial with full military rites will be conducted at Davis Cemetery, Burnettsville.A�A�
