Steven F. Krachinski

Steven F. Krachinski, 59, of Kewanna passed away at 2:30 p.m., Monday, March 28, 2022 at his home surrounded by family.

Born on January 17, 1963 in Michigan City, he was the son of Daniel and Bonnie (Hughes) Krachinski Sr.

On March 20, 1999 he married Kathy Urbin, she survives.

Steven was a longtime restaurant manager and most recently at Red Lobster in Lafayette.  His greatest loves in life were his faith, family, career, politics, cars and sports.

Steven was a member of Rochester Church of God.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Krachinski of Kewanna, his children, Kristen Arnett of LaPorte, Andrew Krachinski of LaPorte, Zachary Krachinski (Krista) of Kokomo and Christopher Krachinski (Rayven) of Rochester, mother, Bonnie Krachinski of Michigan City, brothers, Daniel Krachinski Jr. (Sharon) of Michigan City and Timothy Krachinski (Julie) of Michigan City,  father and mother-in-law, Ned and Eunice Urbin of Kewanna, brothers-in-law, Jay Urbin (Holly) of Milford, Joel Urbin of Kewanna and Jason Urbin (Jessica) of Rochester, sisters-in-law, Kerrie Green (Eric) of Kewanna and Kellie Swango (Jeremy) of Rochester, grandchildren, Madalynn, Ethan, Annabella, Autumn, Aryana, Elijah, Paisley, Teddy and Lincoln.  He also has a great granddaughter on the way, Elliana. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Krachinski Sr. and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 4, 2022 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Metzger Chapel, 123 E. Main St., Kewanna, with Pastor Larry Pyeatt officiating.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bruce Lake.
