Steven H. McKim

Steven H. McKim, 70, of Royal Center passed away at 3:45 p.m., Sunday, January 28, 2018 at his residence.

Born on October 30, 1947 in Wayne, Michigan, he was the son of the late Travis and Termine (Brault) McKim.

On January 12, 1977 he married Katrina Seward, she survives.

Steven formerly owned and operated McKim’s Car Clinic for many years in Westbranch, Michigan.

He was a former member of the Moose and Eagles.  Steven enjoyed restoring classic cars and motorcycles and was a member of the RAT Patrol 4-Wheel Drive Club.  He was also a diehard Detroit Lions fan.

Survivors include his wife, Katrina McKim of Royal Center, son, Travis McKim of Marion, daughters, Jane “BJ” Durfee-Wolf of Colorado and Loretta Kowalczyk of Royal Center, brother, Dennis McKim of Michigan.  He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his son, Steven H. McKim, Jr., brothers, Dallas, Maurice and Thomas McKim and sister, Lucille Randle.

Memorial Services for Steven will be held at a later date.
