Steven A. Moore, 69 of Logansport passed away peacefully at 3:20 a.m., Friday, March 2, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Born on February 13, 1949 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Fred and Kathleen (Packard) Moore.
He was a Logansport High School graduate.
On September 18, 1976 he married Marlene K. Smith, she survives.
Steve formerly worked at General Tire and the McKinney House. He also formerly owned and operated Moore and Crimmins Heating and Cooling.
He was a member of River of Life Christian Church in Logansport.
Steve enjoyed swimming, boating and skiing, collecting guns and I.U. Basketball. He also was an avid Cubs fan and loved watching Dr. Who and Sci Fi movies.
Survivors include his wife, Marlene Moore of Logansport, daughters, Kian Busard (Ron) of Logansport and Abby Funkhouser (Travis) of Monticello, brother, Jeff Moore of Kokomo, sister, Pam Herd (David) of Royal Center, grandchildren, Marlena Busard, Kyle Busard (Dara), Nathan Busard, Kerris Funkhouser and Kaston Funkhouser and great grandchildren, Rhaelyn Conn-Busard, Victoria Busard, Kyler Busard and Rhett Busard.
He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Tonya Sue Sprague.
A Gathering of family and friends will be held in the fellowship hall at River of Life Christian Church in Logansport on Thursday, June 28,2018 from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life service at 7:00 p.m.
Steve’s wishes were to donate his body to the Anatomical Education Program of the Indiana University School of Medicine.
Memorial contributions may be made to the I.U. Anatomical Education Program, River of Life Christian Church or Emmaus Mission.
Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
