Terry Benedict Jr

Terry Benedict Jr., 44, of Logansport, passed away at 5:45 a.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at his residence after his two and half year battle with ALS.

Born on September 17, 1968 in Logansport, he was the son of Terry "Jake", Sr. and Patricia (McPherson) Benedict.

Terry enjoyed collecting coins, hunting, fishing, camping, computers and most of all spending time with his friends and family. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and he was a former truck driver.

He was a 1987 graduate of Logansport High School.

Survivors include his mother, Patricia Benedict of Logansport, father, Terry "Jake" Benedict, Sr. (Brenda) of Logansport, daughter, Tiara Benedict of Logansport, companion, Marti Banic and her daughters, Kelsea and Kimberly all of Logansport, brothers; Mark (Jeni) Caple of Logansport, Travis Caple of Logansport, Andrew Morehouse of Lafayette, Dwain Minniear of Twelve Mile, and Scott Minniear of Lafayette, sisters; Traci (Dave) Hotka of Ft. Myers, Florida and Rebecca Minnear of Kewanna, and also grandchildren; Kaidyn and Wyatt, grandparents, Alice Tocco of Logansport, Gerald Morehouse (Janet) of Royal Center, and Ann Hansen of Logansport.

Terry was preceded in death by grandparents, Carl and Betty McPherson and George Benedict, uncles, Thomas McPherson and Keith Michael and cousin, Ginny McPherson.

Services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, July 19, 2013 at Marocco a�" Rans Funeral Chapel with visitation from 3:00 p.m., until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American ALS Foundation.
