In Loving Memory of Terry Lynn Clay

With heavy hearts we celebrate the life of Terry Lynn Clay who passed away peacefully March 6, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Terry was the heart of her family—a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud grandmother whose greatest joy was being present for the people closest to her. She lived a life rooted in faith and love, always putting her family and others first. She found her greatest joy in simply being with those she cherished.

Terry was the beloved wife of Michael Clay, with whom together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Some of their happiest times were spent at the lake, where they enjoyed peaceful sunset cruises, lived life on “lake time,” and cherished the company of their close circle of friends who became family. Mike and Terry’s love was not only evident in the big moments but in the everyday kindness and support they shared with those around them.

Terry was an incredible mom to her two sons, Jason and Kyle, whom she loved with all her heart. She cherished her daughters-in-law, Emily and Shannon, as if they were her own daughters, finding immense joy and pride in watching them build their families together. Terry was also a deeply loving and devoted “Grammy” to her five grandchildren, and her love for them knew no bounds. She loved attending their sporting events and celebrating their major life milestones, always there with encouragement and support. Christmas was especially dear to her, as she reveled in showering her grandchildren with gifts and love. Terry’s love for her grandkids was immense, and we know her spirit will live on through them, with her memory continuing to shine brightly in their hearts.

Terry also had a heart for serving others. Whether it was cooking a meal, lending a hand, or simply offering a listening ear, she was always the first to step in and help. She lived by the belief that family and others come first, and she poured her heart into every moment spent with those she loved.

Terry is survived by her loving husband, Michael Clay; her devoted sons and their wives, Jason and Emily Miller, and Kyle and Shannon Miller; and her five treasured grandchildren, Owen, Eli, Ellie, Emma, and Graham, who were the lights of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Fran Davis. While her absence leaves a tremendous void, her love, wisdom, and enduring support will continue to guide and inspire those who knew and loved her.
